In the study of world history, word of mouth has evolved into more persistent, permanent subject that form into books. These books has shown to effect or impact in shaping countries and throughout setting the foundations of civilizations. One book that shows this effect, is Iliad by Homer, who is a Greek philosophers. This book brings into the systematic Greek gods and goddesses into the human world and how they interact with each other. He wanted Hector to be respected and honored even though he was on the opposite sides, a mortal and a Trojan. Apollo showed his wisdom in treating everyone with those things whether he was Greek, Trojan, immortal or human. Homer pointed this trait out because for civilization to be equal as possible or even more modern that they must think with their brains not their emotions. This is a positive aspect trait in civilization and for people to realize that they need to think with wisdom and not always emotions. This also brings into the point that people show even though you are in a stance of power you should always give people respect and keep their honor if they are dead. One of the clearer negative towards personal behavior is the trait of fate. Now once a fate is chosen, the person may not totally be able to nor willing to challenge it. It also cannot determine every feat, occasion or occurrence however it can determine how they die. In Iliad, the fate trait is shown both in the protagonist and the antagonist. In the history of hector, and a lot of the other gods/human, who pick the fate of being considered a warrior or get into war the outcome will most likely be that they will die by the hand of someone. Hector who kills Patroclus, knows that someone will be coming after him, most likely Achilles, to try to kill him
